Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away, you took my breath away my sweet sweet Taylor

My son Taylor had a good attitude about life, always ideas of things to do endless energy, and always laughing and smiling and joking, full of excitement. He loved to make people laugh, and he did it well. He was perfect in my eyes. My blue eyed son. Taylor was very inquisitive from an early age, and oh my could that boy talk talk talk!!!! He lived his whole life in 14 years, and he lived it to the fullest, making the best of every opportunity, I only wish he could have stayed longer. He had been in every state west of the Mississippi, and flew with me and his aunt to Florida, drove a semi and a winnebago with his stepdad Don Morrow.. He went on a some trips in the semi.. He was going to start motocross racing next year and had just got a different dirt bike, bigger one than the one he is on in the picture that had more power and was for racing, he only got to ride the bigger one twice. He was going to get his permit soon. He tried things like guitar, track, tae kwondo, wrestling but just didn't have time for any one thing, always ready to go on and try something new. I always told him, if it's not what you enjoy, go on to the next until you find what you love. Taylor cared deeply about two girls, Samantha and Stephanie You were both the love of his life . Taylor has one sister, April, a nurse, there was 14 years in between them. I love them both so much. She loved to go to Bluff Creek, his favorite place to go to watch him ride and race his dirtbike, They would have been riding together next year, we were all going to get 4-wheelers and make it a family thing. As the days go by we miss Taylor so much more and more. Everywhere we go , everything we do, reminds us of how sad we are, and yet how lucky we are to have had him in our lives. There is a piece of my heart in heaven . Life will never be the same w/o him. Taylor was an excellent skater, liked skateboarding , trampoline ( he did high back flips on his trampoline), loved to moon people, riding his bicycle with his many friends, video games, going to the movies, fishing with his grandpa, swimming, go carts , 4-wheeling, paint ball guns, mudding with his sister April, and her fiance Rob and most recently his passion was dirt bike riding. He loved spending all the time he could with his best friend Caleb. Next summer he was going to race motocross. Taylor also has a niece Tristin who adores him and misses him so much, she lets balloons go up to him every chance she gets. He loved to go to stock car races with his dad, camp out, and he loved his music really loud like all teenagers do. Taylor and his best friend ( for 6 years) Caleb went to a new video game store at the edge of town. They left home @ about 5:00, stopped off at a friends house , played some football, went to the gamestore and put some money down on a game they both wanted. The city limits was moved to put in the mall with the gamestore and a super wal-mart but there was and still is no access to get there, no sidewalks, no bike trails, only highway. As they were heading home they were hit by a car, with their lives cut short, they never made it home, but went home to be with God. Someday we will all be together...

"I loved the boy with the utmost love of which my soul is capable and he is taken from me-yet in the agony of my spirit in surrendering such a treasure, I feel a thousand times richer than if I had never possessed it.
William Wadsworth 1812
THIS CHILD OF MINE
"I'll lend you for a little time, a child of mine. He said, For you to love while he lives, and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for Me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief, You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lane, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, Nor hate Me when I come to call him back again?"
I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, thy will be done." For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
And for all the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay; But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned; We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try and understand.
